The MacaTurro is the official cigar of Orquesta Macabeo, crafted with Puerto Rican-grown tobacco from Finca Neo Jibairo in Río Grande. Wrapped in a Habano Vuelta Abajo (HVA) leaf, it delivers a light-but-expressive profile with earthy notes, cocoa, and café, rounded by the almond-like smoothness of an Indonesian binder. The Puerto Rican filler adds a touch of salinidad and hints of uva añeja — a lively, layered blend worthy of the Macabeo spirit.

Flavor Profile:
Light, rhythmic, and complex — earthy cocoa, fresh coffee, almond, a subtle saltiness from the Puerto Rican filler, and a lingering hint of aged grape. A harmonía perfecta inside an elegant HVA wrapper.

Craftsmanship & Origin:
Hand-rolled at Finca Neo Jibairo, each MacaTurro uses tobacco grown, aged, and rolled entirely on-site. This 5×50 robusto blends the essence of our tropical soil with global influence — much like the music of Orquesta Macabeo itself.

Packaging Options:
Available as singles. Each cigar is individually inspected and sealed for freshness.

Founded in 2018 in Río Grande, Puerto Rico, by Antonio, Tito, and Francisco, El Club del Turro grows and rolls cigars from seed to ash at Finca Neo Jibairo. Their mission is to revive Puerto Rico’s nearly forgotten tobacco tradition while innovating with collaborations like the MacaTurro.
